Overcrowding in our public schools is a major concern as the population of the Manly area expands.

Many schools are over capacity in terms of the number of students they can accommodate, stretching resources and staff. The public school system has large financial shortfalls in its maintenance budgets, with just 10% of the $19.3 million of funding needed for maintenance being allocated to schools.
